President's Message
March 2010
Welcome to our website! If this is your first time visiting us, please scroll through our pages to see who we are and what we do as a supporting organization for women in business and a volunteer organization within our community.
We welcome you as a visitor to attend our events and, if you find value in our organization for you and your business we encourage you to become a member.
WBN members give back to the organization and to the community at large through donations and by volunteering their time within the group.
Our next Let's Do Lunch is on Thursday, March 4th at Fire + Water Restaurant, Marriott Victoria. Come a few minutes early to network and meet other business women before sitting for lunch. The admission fee is in the form of non-perishable food items for our Mustard Seed collection.
An evening networking and mixer event for building relationships in order to build business is scheduled for Wednesday, March 10th at the Bard + Banker. Please join us and bring your friends!
The Peer Marketing Modules, which are popular educational sessions
designed to enhance your business marketing, are open to both members
and non-members. The next module covers Twitter. Be sure to book your seat early.
In preparation for our AGM we are calling for member nominations for next year's board. If you are interested in supporting WBN by volunteering your time as a board member, please contact me at info@viwbn.org.
We look forward to seeing you at our events. Please remember your Mustard Seed donations. Your support for this program is very much appreciated.
With kind regards,
Loren Greig-Green
President 2009-2010
